NPR Mentions It As Underrated Gem

NPR's Day To Day Program did a wonderful piece on family films that have kinda fallen by the wayside - it aired the day after Xmas 2008 - and one of the films they mentioned was TUCK EVERLASTING - I could not agree more - this film should be much more popular than it is. A lovely adaptation of a lovely book with a great performances - William Hurt in the rowboat trying to explain how eternity is not what you think it would be - brilliant! NPR did a terrific job on the topic of underrated family films.

Yes! I completely agree! I've been wanting to watch this movie for the longest time! I need to go to Blockbuster or something!! I love this movie soo much!!! I can't wait to read the book. Do you know of anyway I could get the 1981 version?

I saw this movie when it came out in theatres and loved it. I was surprised that it did not become popular and most people I talked to had never heard of it. That is a shame. I did not read the book; the movie was satisfying to me and I did not even have the desire to read the book, since I knew how it ended.
