shareThat scene isn't about playing poker. Miles is accused of cheating in the game which usually involves an extra deck of cards or some sort of slight of hand. What Miles is doing in that scene is 'counting cards'. He makes it look as if he is cutting the deck at random, and showing the six of hearts was supposed to prove that. However, by pulling the ace of hearts directly from the top of the left over pile, Miles in actuality proves that he knew exactly where the ace was from the beginning.
While counting cards is technically not illegal, it isn't completely legal either, and can really change the moods of the other players for the worst, So, I suggest, unless you feel the desire for a good fistfight, that you leave card counting out of your poker strategy. ^o^
