Who was the narrator?
The narrator definitely wasn't Winnie's voice. I thought it might be her as she was older, but she ended up being dead at the end. Could it have been Winnie's daughter or granddaughter retelling her story? Thoughts?

shareI don't think the narrator is meant to be anyone in the story. It's Elizabeth Shue's voice, as listed in the credits. Just a generic omniscient storyteller, but this time it's a woman.

was it not Jesse's mums voice because surely if it was her grand-daughter she would have come out to meet Jesse??
