Why would the cop be sitting in the backseat with her???

They screwed up. The cop wouldn't be sitting in the backseat with his gun just there in the open. Why wasn't he sitting in the passenger seat? It's just a crappy mistake to continue the story.

THe movie overall, kind of disapointed me with the way they didnt explain the characters that well and on how badly they portrayed some of the characters, such as the cops in this film. I KNOW!!! As far as i KNow a cop would not be sitting on the back sat with a crimial, specially with his gum all explosed for the criminal to have an eassy reach. the whole coffee spilling was just a way to explain that he could not fight her in time. yet, she should still have had to struggle with her hands all tied up! It almost seems like she was a pro at using guns, which contradicts to her past of been a good girl that got all messed up after her boyfriend got into a coma.

Also the police car never got to it's destination on time. it turns around and heads to Ben's house. Ben goes out and doesnt even notices that his mother has been knocked out? Also she manages to carry Amy out of the house put her in a cop's car which by this time you would think that the police would have attempted to contact the police officers on why they have to reached their destination. So she carries Amy all the way to the school, SOMEHOW gets inside the school gets into an office gets a school teacher's chair and does all of this just in time for Ben to arrive and save the day. They really messed up a bit if you think about it. I know it's just a movie but they should take a little more time with the scrip and the director before they actually begin shooting. I know their under schedule and that they need to make money but that's the big issue these days with the films comming out. It's more about the money and finishing the show than doing a good job!

Thats my problem with this film too.

A cop never sits in the back with the criminal.

Secondly, his gun would not be there with him if he was sitting back there.

Thirdly, one person can not kill two experienced cops in a matter of seconds. The cop in the front should have been able to draw his gun and kill her before she could kill him.

Fourthly, they made Madison too intelligent and clever.

Madison does not have the ability to ruin his life that much.

It's okay. She probably wanted him to. :)

I' pretty sure he was sitting in the passanger seat...the major error in this scene is having her handcuffed in front instead of behind the back, this gave her a perfect opportunity to grab his gun!

I was honestly going to come in here and make a thread about the cop scene..totally retarded...a cop sittin in the back with his gun all exposed to the criminal? come f-in ON!..

You guys already said what I wanted to say though..one of the lamest scenes of the movie...besides the move itself.

Yeah, I was enjoying the film up to that point, and I just went, "Really?", and turned it off.

It would NEVER happen...just a stupid way to pad a film.
