Highly Unrealistic Movie

This movie is on TV right now and I have to say, it is completely unrealistic. I don't mean the parts about a young girl turning psychotic and murdering people, I mean the notion that a young male would continually reject the advances of a hot girl, just because he has a girlfriend already. I don't care how crazy she acted, if someone even half as good looking as Erika Christensen wanted to obsess over me i'd gladly F her brains out any time. Who do they think they're fooling having the guy do everything in his power to avoid and reject her, and let it make his life miserable? I guess that's why its fiction.. if it were me i'd say screw it all and just hook up with the hot female stalker.. she would be more fun in the sack anyway, she seemed to even enjoy being choked in that one scene.. erotic asphyxiation, yeah baby!

...I'm not claiming to have a complete understanding of the male psyche, but my reading of it was this:
He wanted to be good, but was tempted and fell. While he was horny it seemed like a good idea, something he could maybe even get away with, but as soon as the deed was done he just wanted to put as much distance as possible between the girl and him.
He saw her as a girl he'd like to ****, but not the homely, take home to mom type like he already had. Once he cracked it, he didn't want to know, and came over all pious and self-righteous. She probably put him off anyway by being so needy.

In short, he wanted that thing that exists only in fiction - a one-off roll in the hay with no strings and no complications!

(Besides, was she really that "hot"? She looked a little fat to me, there were very few shots of her from the waist down and when we saw her from behind her ass looked on the big side. Meow!)

I agree, she was a bit on the chubby side. It was odd in terms of her face, because in some shots she looked fat there too but when she turned her face to the side she looked phenomenal (like when she tells Ben she hasn't eaten all day, or is yelling at Josh in the car).

Her bum was a bit on the big side too, but it seems a lot of men like that. (J. Lo anyone?)

"I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus."
"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."

Wow. She's absolutely stunning. Also chubby? You guys have some really odd idea of chubbines.

I like the actors. The movie's a cheap teenage Fatal Attraction rip-off.

Hopelessly in love with Uma Thurman and Emmy Rossum

I've been married for 25 years, but it's doomed to fail! How will I break the news to my beloved?

I understand what you're saying, but you possibly didn't understand my post. I was just querying whether the original poster's enthusiasm for this girl's looks was justified - in my opinion, it wasn't. The subject of her persobality didn't come up! I would have thought it went without saying that she wasn't ideal partner material...

Wow. You obviously have never been in love with anybody- I thought you were going to speak more of the police officer riding in the back with a criminal, or the fact that it would of been incredibly easy to lift Amy out of the pool when she was in the chair...Plus, she would of floated in the first place...

But the direction you took was rediculous...Just...No.

I disagree that this is an unrealistic movie.

This is a little bit of a stretch, but I actually had something similar to this movie happen to me just this past summer.

I'm a 25 year old swimmer, and I spent most of my summer evenings in my neighbor's very large inground pool. I did that because I prefer swimming in their pool in my neighborhood as opposed to having to drive almost an hour to the next nearest pool large enough to swim laps.

Anyways, I'm in Illinois, and I have a girl in New York in medical school, so I wasn't around her every single day this summer obviously. And to summarize what happened, there was this neighborhood girl (not in the same house as the one who had this pool), and she was absolutely obsessed with being around me while I was swimming. She was a nice girl to talk to at first, and I never thought anything more of her than that. Once she found out I was a swimmer though, she went into full crazy mode. She would say how hot and sexy I looked when she saw me in my speedos, which wasn't difficult since the pool didn't have a very high fence. But she never stopped there; she kept saying all the things she wanted to do to me....I'll leave that to your imagination. She kept trying to tempt me with all types of things. She did everything short of getting into the pool with me like in the movie. It was crazy to say the least. I always tried to keep my cool and concentrate on swimming.

BUT unlike the movie, it never became anything violent or sexual with this girl. I never touched her at all, even with all the temptation. I didn't touch her because I love my girlfriend that much, and also because this girl who was infatuated with me looked like a beached whale in a bathing suit compared to my girl.

So again, not exactly like the movie, but it shows that there are pyscho girls out there who do those types of things to the male swimmers out there.

-Umh, and you are like what, 16-17 years old??

"it is completely unrealistic that a young male would continually reject the advances of a hot girl, just because he has a girlfriend already."

-I don't find that unrealistic. He loved his girlfriend. "Just because he has a girlfriend"... I'm sorry you have such a twisted sense of morality. There are still people who can and chooses to keep their pants on and won't cheat on their boy- or girlfriends no matter how good looking person comes along and tries to hit on them. There is such a thing as being trustworthy. You shouldn't date anyone if you can't keep your penis for yourself!

"Who do they think they're fooling having the guy do everything in his power to avoid and reject her, and let it make his life miserable?"

-I'm sorry, but how old are you again? I mean your mental level cannot be that high. First of all, it's NORMAL to reject a person you don't know when you are in a relationship! Secondly, it was HER and her act that made his life miserable, not that he rejected her. It's beyond me you cannot see this fact in the movie!
You might be serious with this topic and everything you wrote, but for some reason I have a hard time beliving you were being serious. I mean, no matter if you're a teen, the level of intelligence, or the lack of it is very high.

Wow, I don't even know how to reply to this guy's stupid post. There are some guys out there that can resist a girl coming onto them. The OP must be a horney, teenage boy.

OP, you should be proud of yourself.

You really are what makes women hate/dislike the male species so much.
