They can always think of something. They always have sequels after the killer ect. dies, they always find ways for a sequel. A family member takes revenge ect ect ect. Or it's a whole new girl after a whole new guy. Or somebody who knew this girl pretends to be friends with the guy only to hurt him and try to eventually kill him for revenge

I guess. They can work some sci fi angle in like some scientist clones her, and the clone matures really fast and recovers her memories
