The REAL spun ending.

The Q.A. for the interpretation for the ending says that it can be seen in 3 ways but to be honest there are 4. The ending I perceive is metaphorical, the explosion never really happens rather it is the expression and out cry of the pain and hurt inside. Throughout the movie there is no one telling these people that they are wrong, the cops themselves snort cocaine and everyone is so self absorbed into thinking that it will all work out, rejecting the fact that inside they are dying and want to just get out. The explosion happens to fast for it to be chemical.
As the movie winds down to an end everyone is falling asleep as a peaceful hum over comes this horror on screen as the cook tells his sob story to no one everyone sleeps blocking out the pain and the explosion as all is silent including the explosion is the inner scream and pain of all these lost causes as they fade to black. Their cries of pain are burning to get out. THIS IS THE REAL ENDING!
