Agreed.
This film is another one of those "dollar store" movies. I found this DVD dirt cheap. It's not usually my kind of movie... I tend to want to laugh at movies, rather then watch someone die slowly... And I've known my share of alcoholics in my life time... I tend to want to shrink from reality, rather the face it. But this film was very well written... The
cast acted wonderfully... There isn't one thing I can say bad about it...
If you ever see this film in your local dollar store or Big lots... Do yourself a favor; Pick it up.

I'm more surprised that only 300 people have rated it on here. That's such a low number for a 10+ year old movie with recognizable actors. I forget where I even heard about it but I had it on my Netflix queue for a long time and just finally watched it. It was solid. Worth watching for sure.

You're spot on! (even 8 years later, lol). Again I watch it. It's beautiful and real.
