What was the funniest moment in the movie?
How about "D*** IT!" (Reverend sees him) "Sorry! Sorry!"

shareWhile I don't think there were many "ha-ha" moments in the movie, the one that stood out for me was when Landon showed up for the first play rehearsal. He's kind of chillin against the wall, when he's told he's going to play the lead part. He sits up, surprised and says, "no, no, I wasn't planning on acting or anything..........." The gal next to him was trying hard not to laugh.
shareYes, that scene. Especially when he's reading his lines.. "I don't know what I'm drinking dollface, but if it's love.. pour me another glass?" And he has this look in his face, like WTF is this crap I'm reading? Lol.
shareFrankly, I think this sequence provides most of the humor in the movie. The other situation is when Landon is outside waiting for his ride and Jamie comes up to him. She says, "ok, so you don't care about school or grades, but you like being popular and you never will be again", or some such. Landon answers back (mimicking Jamie), that's predictable." To which she answers, "your act only works on an audience." His facial expression is priceless - like, did I really hear that?!! Then of course, he begs her for a lift.
shareI found it rather humorous the way Landon was hiding in Jamie's car (so his friends wouldn't see him) as she was giving him a ride home. I believe Jamie also found it humorous as her expression suggested she was fighting back from laughing herself.
Rest in peace, Roger Ebert. You were the best.
Dean: "If there is a higher power, why can't He get you a new sweater."
Jamie: "He's too busy looking for your brain".
Burn.
