SPOILERS - Relationship with Angelo Maria Li Causi

I'm not sure if I quite understood the ending. Was there some special relationship with Tanino and Mr Li Causi? Did he pay for Tanino's education, apartment, etc.?

I don't know if I got it either, but I thought Li Causi killed Tanino's father and he was trying to make up for it by being nice to Tanino. Not sure though, I really wish it had English subtitles

I was thinking maybe Li Causi was Tanino's real father, but I didn't know. Maybe you're just supposed to guess or something.

Yes, because Li Causi is the one that killed his father.

Carusi killed Tanino's father and in the early maphia code of omerta that meant the killer had to take care of the muredred's children if he had any.
