The only good thing about this movie is Rachel McAdams naked, all the rest is crap. Tonino is the stereotype of the Italian immigrant as seen by Americans and apparently has some sight's problem since he prefers dating a fat Italian-American nasty instead of chasing Sally. What a dumb!

If you remember correctly, Sally had a boyfriend and didn't want anything to do with Tanino. And for the fat nasty, he was only in it for the money and wasn't proud about it.

obviously you might not get get it if:
1) you think of THE MATRIX as a modern classic
2) you think colorized oldies are better than the original
3) you think of NETWORK as a very old movie
4) you've never heard of NETWORK
5) you've never been to Italy
an Italian friend
I totally agree with wacabell-1 (well, except for the fact that I consider The Matrix a modern classic, but only the first one of the trilogy).
My Name Is Tanino is a wonderful movie and it portrays italian stereotypes less than it does a movie like Mission Impossible 3.
I rated it 8/10.
