i think she looks good either way but i really liked her strait black hair.

The first scene with Kyle McLachlan where she has straight black hair and the blue contacts she looked the best I've ever seen her in a movie.

I agree! What I don't get is how the heck did they get her eyes so blue?!
She has brown/hazel eyes. They looked real. Excellent contacts, I suppose! :)
