I live in the US and I hear there is a great and totally entertaining second commentary on the UK DVD. I do not have a region-free player. So, does anyone know where I can find / hear this commentary? I would love to experience it.

YouTube might have it.
You can get the R2 disc and do various things to your PC so you can play it - I won't detail how, but Google should help quick enough. Things like DVD43 are a good start.

OK, I went ahead with it and picked up a cheap copy of the R2 version. I'll figure it out from there. Can't wait - I hear it is a great commentary!

Did you ever get to hear it?. As a fan of commentaries with some drolling on in to much detail and some sounding like they don't even know what movie they're commenting on, The dog soldiers one is without a doubt the most entertaining one I've ever heard. The cast are basically all pissed out of their heads and clearly all just had a blast making the movie together. Liam Cunningham is an absolute legend!!.

SilverWolf, I had to order a R2 copy (I live in US, where R1 is the dominant format) but I found out that VLC Media Player (offered as a free download online) will play movies as region free. I used that to play the commentary, which worked just fine.
