maybe it had no significance in the movie, but i just thought maybe there was more to it... any suggestions?

She was just an unfortunate woman who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

If i recall it good, Joe(Kevin Bacon) hit her, put her in the trunk of her car, and then stole the car.

And that's why you shouldn't drive Camery's boys and girls. Not only is it the top selling and stolen car in the country, but it's got plenty of room in the trunk for you to get stuffed in.

He just needed a car to get out of the garage and she was outside of her car so he knocked her out and locked her in the trunk so he could steal her car. No other significance.

Just a random person. But yeah, they never showed what happened to the person.

They did show what happened. After the car flipped, Karen unlocked the trunk and the woman fell out and ran away.

THANK YOU for asking this!!! Before I asked, I searched here to find out. It was like, everything is mayhem on the highway, Charlize escapes from the car, and opens the trunk and out pops some random woman who gets up and runs away.... like WHAT??? Whodat? I was so confused. lol

But thank you for the people who answered, and it triggered my memory of them in the parking garage where Keven bangs this woman's head for no apparent reason. I forgot they put her in the trunk, I guess. I wish I had seen the movie from her perspective, to tell the truth.

HOWEVER, I wish there had been ZERO explanation for why some random woman would fall out of an upside down crashed car and just randomly run away, that would have made this movie better and more hilarious. (I didn't like it much....)
