did anyone relive your adolescence?

The soundtrack in this movie took me back to high school. Did anyone else enjoy it as much as I did? I had a hard time keeping up with the car spinning in the opening scene because my singing was too loud. LOL

When I was a senior in high school, we had a teacher who brought her own stereo and played albums of very mild music (like Gordon Lightfoot) while we were working quietly at our desks. I guess she was trying to calm us down or something. Anyway, we had a gullible substitute teacher one day and 2 of the girls in our class ran home and brought back some Parliament and Commodores albums and convinced her that the regular teacher allowed us to listen to it while we worked.

I will NEVER forget that sweet teacher yelling (she was sitting right in front of the speakers), "Are y'all sure Mrs. Scherz lets you listen to this music?" while everyone in the class was dancing. Maybe that's why I love this movie so much .... because the music kinda captures the soundtrack of my life. ROFL!
