'Tommy's or Fat Burger?'
Nice character touch to Russell's character, showing appreciation for that character's information. What do you think are some other great character moments in this flm?

Yeah...I agree with you, td. Some critics say that Kurt Russell hasn't ever been much of a dramatic actor, but I beg to differ. That "facer" speech to Bobby registered greatly with me; I thought it was dead-on. I love it as he goes on to describe '....so every Christmas I slip some money into her mailbox.'
Another sequence I like in "Dark Blue" is when Eldon discovers that Jack has sold him out. He starts pacing in the hotel room, and doesn't have to say anything. You just know he's pondering a thousand different things because of his face and his body language.
Sorry to go off on a different note, but I really liked Kurt Russell's performance in "Backdraft." There's the confrontation between Bull and Brian (Billy Baldwin) on Bull's boat near the movie's end. Bull closes in on him and says something like, 'Boy, look at you. Look at the look on your face. I mean, the things you must be thinking.' There is a chilling look on Kurt Russell's face right there that gives me goosebumps. At that given moment, one can't really blame Brian for thinking that his older brother is perhaps a stone-cold arsonist : )
Whilst you're recognising the genius that is Russell, I watched TOMBSTONE the other night.
That is a quality flick and Kurt is the absolute mac throughout. Hence the following quote;
'So run, you cur...RUN! Tell all the other curs the law's comin'!
You tell 'em I'M coming...and hell's coming with me, you hear?...HELL’S COMIN WITH ME!!!'
