A great example of a dialogue-based climax

This movie is a rather well-crafted but not outstanding thriller up until the great penultimate scene with Kurt Russel giving a speech and unloading all the dirt at his promotion ceremony. Great acting and writing in this scene! It ties the whole movie together in a way that isn't pandering or insulting. I was relieved that this didn't end in a shootout or something like that. The other aspect of this movie I really enjoyed is the lack of perfect characters. Even Ving Rhames comes off as more than a little self-serving in his actions. Good movie!

What's the Spanish for drunken bum?
