Libertarianism

California being a "blue state" with a major city rife with vice problems, the plot and themes kind of felt like a libertarian's or perhaps a constitutionalist's subtle critique of the overall Los Angles way of life. I only worry that the fiction presented is unreasonably or unfairly disingenuous, a fantasy, as conservatives would have every reason to be frothing at the mouth. The film didn't really underscore whose policies led to a stoned driver among worse criminals being free to roam the streets in the first place. I don't know.
