When I saw this back in the theatre years ago, I remember the tune, "No Photograpghs." It caught my ear and I thought during its playing, it was when Chamberlain was with his wife before he set out to battle. When I watched it on DVD, it shows the tune with Jackson and the young girl. Did I make a mistake or was something changed?
shareWell, it WAS seven years ago, and some of the tunes sound similar. Perhaps you were mistaken.

They did play it in that part of the film, but it was actually written for a deleted scene where Jackson has his final photograph taken before Chancellorsville. The scene will probably be part of the Director's Cut to be released this May.

Okay, I thought I was going crazy or something. Are you sure about the directors cut of G&G? Also, have you heard anything about the third film, "The Last Full Measure" being made?
