directors cut question

is the directors cut only on blueray? I was trying to get it for my dad....he doesnt have a blueray.

Nope, it's on DVD also. I have mine on DVD.

You can't get it standalone on DVD, but you can get this limited edition collector's set which includes Gods and Generals Extended Director's Cut and Gettysburg Director's Cut on DVD as well as a ton of other stuff.
