The Last Full Measure - Grant
I know that The Last Full Measure isn't going to be made into a film, but if it were...what actor would you cast as Grant?
"I've got a bit of a dirty fork"
Tommie Lee Jones comes to mind.
"As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll."
Billy Bob Thornton is a perfect Sherman, Russel Crowe is Grant.

Give Mark Walburg a few more years to age and he'll be a perfect Sherman.
Grant is a harder fit. About a dozen years ago Mel Gibson looked so much like Grant it was scary, but his window is long past.
Speilberg's selection of Jarred Harris as Grant for the Lincoln movie is one of the worst casting decisions in recent history.
Spare us all these flacid attempt to cast a movie that will never be made.
