There has been lots of discussion on this and other boards about the legality of secession, etc.
My idea is this. Pre Civil War. The southern states haven't seceded yet and they ask the Supreme Court for a ruling. It could be a good court room and political intrigue script.
It would also be alternate history since that didn't really happen.
shareI wonder why there are so few openly alternate history films. I say openly, because so many self proclaimed historical films are so poorly researched and full of inaccuracy that they may as well be taking place in an alternate fantasy universe.
