Anyone know? I really dug the show when it was on TV, and I'm thinking about getting the DVDs. Are they any good- ie the commentaries and extras and all that sort of thing?

Season 1 - A few deleted scenes is about all you get.
Season 2 - Commentary on all 13 episodes, some good and some bad but mostly weird. Girls in bikinis acting out "Der Dieb," and other stuff.
Season 3 - A few...umm...unconventional commentaries, two episodes that never aired and kitty fun fun commercials.
Season 4 - New episode about the grunt crew, the "Shrabster" episode can be played in chronological order and deleted scenes.

Honestly the first three seasons are TOTALLY worth getting on DVD. The fourth season is a must for a hardcore fans only and the fifth should be avoided at all costs (if it indeed does come out.)
Sorry I know that will break someone's heart out there but after Harry Goz passed away that was the end of the show for me. The whole style of the humor shifted *not changed completely* but shifted and was just nowhere NEAR being as funny. Which is pretty much why I think Frisky Dingo was a dissapointment...
Anyway the first two seasons are like a slice of fried gold, and the third is OKAY - you can tell the writers still had a bag of material written BEFORE Goz passed and that was used up till about halfway in the 3rd season. Then the 4th season has a few solid episodes and is overall pretty good but the last season was completely unwatchable.
I know you are asking about extras, and the 2nd season is where the money is at - Der Dieb done live is just, wow. Just wow man. The first season has a couple of really good stuff for the hardcores and the 3rd is kind of lame on extras. You can tell that their hearts were just not in it because it was released very shortly after Goz... And the 4th season had some good stuff but were pretty forgettable.
Anyone else agree? Or a better question on the IMDB boards - hate me, my opinion, and want to see my family burned alive for this?
