What was Capt. Murphy's beef with Pod 6 anyway?

What you mean when they all died in that massive explosion. lets face it they were jerks, and murphys word is LAW! (no pun intended)

I have only seen four episodes of Sealab 2021 (from season two) but I got the impression it's because they do well and are rewarded for their efficiency, so they get to have parties and free food, etc. Perhaps Murphy is jealous?

You're not suppose to know why they hate pod 6. We just know that they're hated and I also dislike pod 6. Somebody should bomb them.
