Another thing about the music too was it sounded bada$$ with the "aaa-yuken!!" and "sonic boom!" sounds! I can't listen to the mp3s by themselves so I go to youtube and listen to the videos so I can have the music & the voice sounds together!

My favorite is Guile's stage music. I've remembered/known it since i was a little kid back in the early 90's, and love it. After Guile's, Ken's stage music is my 2nd favorite. Then maybe Balrog's is 3rd. Anyways, i think they're all good pieces of video game music, and all of them are catchy.

This original version of SF2 had the BEST music and hard sound effects. All of the later SF2s like "Turbo" and "Super" had watered-down versions of the songs.

shareSagat's all the way dude! it's the trippiest one, sounds like the kind of music you hear in muay thai tournaments! moreover, really sticks in my head, and has the most complex musicianship of all them (it's not obvious i know, and it's not really musicianship in the strict sense of it as it's programmed, it's the rythmic patten that's complicated...anyways.) The composers of the music did an amazing job IMHO, best videogame soundtrack ever, and they could have got away with something much simpler...(...but they didn't!!!duh.)
Other ones i love: Guile's, Ken's, Zangief's and Balrog's (we all seem to agree on those ones...)
The ones i love the less: Dahlsim's and Blanka's... but they're great when compared to the horrible tracks they created for T Hawk and Dee Jay in "super SF2 - the new challengers"...

So hard to put some of these themes low down in my list, because I seriously found them all to be great in their own way, was just about recalling which I loved the most, and had fondest memories with, and as a guy who played as Balrog, Sagat, Vega, Bison and Ryu more than any other characters, I had to give them higher placings than others :)
