I noticed the same thing. I drives me crazy how such a significant detail is left out of the movie!
shareI HATED that we never find out! It almost made a farce out of the whole film (as if that semi-lame fighting sequence at the end didn't do that already).
Why would they not reveal her name?? Even when Mitch is chasing her out of the motel he yells "SLIM!"
Really people? He calls his wife Slim?!

Doesn't she say her name was Jenny, at the very end talking to a cop when she was sitting outside of Mitch's home?

Noah Wylie was the cop friend wasn't he? It's been awhile since I saw this movie but I was on the Shades of Blue posts and one thing led to another and I came here after reading some of the comments about Jennifer Lopez.
Did you see her in Angel Eyes with Jim Caviezel? I don't think she is a horrible actress at all.

You are correct, he was the cop friend of Mitch's.
I tend to think even the worst actor (which Jennifer is not, but still not good) has a role where they really act terrifically.
The film Angel Eyes is that film for Jennifer Lopez. She really shined there.
