God Awful

This film...
I just don't know where to start.

There are so many clichés in this film. Vulnerable, pretty victim with no daddy working in a chappy diner until Mr Money comes along... yawn. Why did she escape in the night rather than the day? How likely is it that the husband would have a mate as crazy as he is? So crazy that he'd be willing to try and drive a mother and child off the road when they really hadn't done anything wrong in the first place? Willing to possibly go to prison just because his mate wanted to bash up his wife? Really? When they had actually tried to kill her, why didn't she report it? Why didn't she document ANY of it? And what the HELL is this Jupiter thing all about? Jupiter? Slim? Are the nicknames supposed to be cute? I'm not J Lo bashing either, her acting in this for the most part was fine, I just felt like the whole film was just trying to explain it's own previous plot holes. Terrible film. Give me Sleeping with the Enemy any day!
