Anyone else think Gracie is annoying?

The squeaky giggles (which I can't see a five year old making. She was five when this movie was made.) And the insightful, adult way she says, "you miss somebody." That's something no one under age sixteen would say. Bad writing, bad use of splicing childish noises, and all-around bad movie. Totally unrealistic on so many levels-even for Movieland. Also, as if Robbie's character in the car chase scene would have put Mitch's daughter in harm's way. I can't see this movie being anything more than a total flop.

The daughter annoyed me too. She sounded like she inhaled a ton of helium.

I wasn't bothered by her in the slightest. She was just fine, in my opinion. Nor do I agree that this was a poor movie. It's flawed, and very much so with regards to the shifting tone and some major plot points. But it's an Ok film, with a nasty bite disguised as female empowerment. It needed more smarts, but is entertaining, well acted on Lopez's part and fairly well directed.

What does that have to do with Gracie being annoying?

Besides, that scene was extremely telling to the audience.
It showed that Mitch didn't care one damn bit about Gracie.

The guy was ready to kill her mom, and right in front of his daughter! He shoves her really hard for trying to save her mom too.
She was just his possession, just like Slim was.

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?

You think she's annoying, try Thea from Jaws: The Revenge. She was even more annoying than Gracie.

Gracie is the best part of the Movie, she is adorable! Not annoying at all. And so cute.
