I've seen Tom & Jerry episodes with more depth

I've never seen a movie this emotionally manipulative with characters so morally black & white.

Our main protagonist is the greatest guy ever, the man's man, the ladies man and most importantly with the moral compass of a saint. He feels bad after killing scumbag cops that wanted to kill him and even tries to save one after shooting him. As for the cops, this movie's moto is All Cops Are Bastards. Literally all of them are irredeemable assholes except maybe for the lead inspector who may be the only morally grey character in this.

Near the start of the movie, our hero has an affair with a married woman. But that's ok, because the movie shows us that her husband is an asshole who likes killing horses for no good reason so he had it coming.

In another scene we see one character who is with the cops' search party shooting pretty birds with an evil grin on his face. As for our heroes, despite them being outlaws and surviving in the wild, at no point we even see them hunting.

As always, there is a Judas character in the movie, the traitor. And you wanna know how I knew who that would be about 30 minutes before I was supposed to? Because unlike the rest of the Kelly's holy gang, this guy cheated on his girl...with a 13 year old. Just so you don't feel bad about him getting killed later by our heroes.
