..... Would be a TV series, at least four or five seasons long,
so that they could put *everything* in it. Start off with his parents' origins
and include everything else up to the night of his hanging.

They already made a mini-series which is considered to be the best adaptation of the events. Way back in the 80's.

It was also the first feature-length film made anywhere in the world... at 70 minutes.

Only about 12 of that actually survives to this day.
