6.5 really I thought it was great

I've seen some awful stuff get 7.5 yet this movie gets a 6.5 I'd say it's atleast an 8 or 9. Why do people dislike it?

I don't know. I thought it was pretty good too and rate it a 7/10. Brilliant cinematography! I think it may have worked better to see a little more of his early life, but I enjoyed it overall.

Not sure why it ended up tanking so badly at the box office. I guess North American audiences just weren't all that interested in a relatively true to life expensively made, Australian western.🐭

Westerns on imdb get rated low for some reason. No idea why.

Seemed a bit flat to me. Not much tension or lyricism and not great photography as seen on a bargain bucket DVD running on a lap top. Just a straightforward telling of the story that didn't give a good cast much to do. Pity really but there you go.

I enjoyed it too. Good western-drama.
