The weapons and the cars are totally messed up in this game...

I almost hate this game just for that. I'm doing this Yardie-mission called Gangcar Roundup, were you have to collect 3 enemy gang cars. But it's nearly impossible to get the mafia car, becuse of the overpowered shotgun and the underpowered car.

Directly as I step into mafia terrotory, my car just explodes, just like that! I was like WTF!?!?! So I tried it out again, and ofc it happened again. So I started thinking that the mafia had got thierselves some supernatural weapons of some kind. So I decieded to walk through the mafia terrotory, and guess what, IT WAS JUST A *beep* SHUTGUN!!!

Any suggestions about how I should complete this? Is there anything like a hidden mafia somewhere? Cause I really can't get it from the mafia place, the mafiosos there are *beep* insane!
I really hope that it's just a bugg or something, cause how could they seriously make something like that in a game?

'Gangcar Roundup' is easy once you get it 'just right' if you know what I mean.

Here's the strategy:

A fairly long and boring mission, employer King Courtney wants you to steal three different gang vehicles: a Mafia Sentinel, Diablo Stallion and a Yakuza Stinger. Inconveniently, the former two are found on Portland Island and this means that you'll likely have to make more than one trip back and forth.

Upon the initiation of the mission, one pink blip will appear on your radar. This is the garage, so don't accidentally wind up chasing it, thinking it's a car. As a result, there are no dots or blips telling you where the cars required are, given the need to find them yourself and that they have no mission-only locations anyway.

Use the Porter Tunnel to drive to Portland; by doing this you can avoid having to drive through Mafia or Triad turf.
By this time you should be hated and wanted for dead by the Mafia I think you should be okay in Diablo and Triad turf but watch those shotguns!

There are two locations where you can get a Mafia Sentinel from, IIRC: One, the Mafia Gentlemen's Club located roughly east-ish atop the hill in Saint Marks. There should be two Mafia Sentinels parked our front of the place.
Two, Salvatore's place towards the northeast corner of the island. There are regularly two Mafia Sentinels parked there and there are never guards around.

Tip: Avoid using the roads to reach the Gentlemen's Club, if that's where you're gonna get your car. Instead, drive (yes, time for a bit of off-road) up the hillside to the top behind Easy Credit Autos in Harwood so as to gain something of a height advantage over Mafia members (by doing this, you can avoid being shot by them). As soon as you gain possession of the Sentinel, take the Porter Tunnel again to Stanton Island and deliver it to the garage. Avoid any reckless or unnecessary dangerous driving as any damage given to the car will need to be repaired before you can deliver it to the garage.

Utilising the now very useful Porter Tunnel, drive back to Portland. You won't find any Diablo Stallions parked anywhere, so cruise around Hepburn Heights for a while until you manage to find one. Warning: watch your back as you search.

As soon as you get behind the wheel of one, take it to the garage as fast as you can, making sure you repair any damage if any is made. Once you do so, you have one final car to get: the Yakuza Stinger.
So head on over to either Asuka's apartment or Kenji's Casino in Torrington. Thankfully, stealing one of these is a piece of cake. Look in Kenji's car park to find one.

Deliver it to the garage with no damage to finish the mission.

Reward: $10,000.
