What mission is it that prevents 100% completion because you have to kill Kenji or something like that and it messes with the storyline?

The Donald Love mission "WAKA-GASHIRA WIPEOUT". You must finish Kenji's thread (ending with "SMACK DOWN") prior to doing WGW.
Also...you must finish the Marty Chonks thread (ending with "HER LOVER") before the storyline takes you to the second island. The telephone no longer rings once you've played through the Salvatore thread (ending with "LAST REQUESTS").
Either one of these glitches will prevent 100% game completion. The only PS2 solution would be to use a Gameshark-type cheating disc and use the mission-select mod to be able to access them with a taxi.
In addition...PS2 users can no longer use "New Game" once a game has been completed on a given memory card. Trying to do so will introduce the infamous "Purple Nines" glitch. The fix for this is to erase the memory card file, start a new game, and store it after completing the intro mission (so it can be reloaded instead of using "New Game").

There is a telephone at the intersection where Joey's garage is. IIRC, you'll hear it ringing when you are up to his missions (approx). After answering the phone, you proceed into the Bitchin' Dog Food company (just inside the walls where the phone is) for each of his missions.
Note that the same problem does not occur for El Burro's missions (the phone in Misty's parking lot), King Courtney's missions (the phone near the university), or D-Ice's missions (the phone down the hill from the Shoreside savehouse). Those can be done at any time after the corresponding telephone begins ringing. All of the telephone missions are optional...required only for 100% completion. It's advisable to put off Courtney's missions for as long as possible, because the Yardies near your Staunton safehouse will attack you after finishing his thread (sux when trying to push a rare locked or blown up vehicle into your garage otherwise).

it must be for the original PS2 release of GTA 3,because I have an X-Box and I completed all of Salvatore's missions,went to Staunton came back to Portland during the day and the phone was still ringing.I completed all of Chonks Missions too.
