I love the Beatles references!!

As well as Kramer vs. Kramer and I also believe Gone With the Wind(1939) was also mentioned in this film.

This is what really kept me glued to the movie although I thought it was a little too typical especially for Sean Penn come on!

That's the reason I wanted to re-watch the movie. (Other than it being really good). I am a huge Beatles fan so all the references were just icing on the cake. I loved all of his posters all over the apartment and his decision on Lucy's name. Gone With The Wind is also my favorite movie so that was awesome too!

Yeah, as much as I enjoyed Across The Universe, I thought this film did the music of The Beatles WAY more justice.

I agree. Except for the use of "Strawberry Fields". I thought that was way retarded lol.

There were numerous references throughout the movie to the Beatles but the one I really enjoyed was after the shoe store visit the group crossing “Abby Road” with their balloons. That was a great scene.
