I agree, the foster mom is a bitch to Sam. In many ways, I can understand why she reacted as she did towards him. Imagine if you were going to adopt a child and someone (mentally challanged at that) comes between what could become a family. The foster mom assumed that by Sam coming unannounced, that it made it difficult for Sam's daughter to be able to settle into her new home with her new family. She redeemed herself; however, when she had decided to let him have custody of his daughter. They need to come out with a second movie!!

Sure was. Ticking me off...what was her problem??? At one point, she says "Give me my daughter." I like the way the kid kept escaping in the middle of the night and then wouldn't sit with her at the kitchen table.

i watched it on tv last night and when she said "Give me my daughter", i wanted to throw the remote at the tv!

she thought he abused the child like he "abused" the boy in the birthday party. and they had to pick the most adorable actress in history, just like they had a black woman for evil social worker, and in the end you may forgive her every thing.
