The godmother got very sensitive when the guy in court asked about her father,did the movie explain what happened to her? seems like something terrible by the way she reacted. Another question is why at first she said she couldn't testify when Sam asked her to.
sharenope it wasn't explained, it just seems she was abused as a child and that it was well known by everybody so the lawyer Mr. Turner knew abt it
abt not being able to testify maybe coz she hasn't been outside her apartment for a very long time as she said she spent 28 years in real world so that means she spent more than that at her place not going out
remember when the kid was crying and he asked her to come over she told him to come over, she didn't wanna leave her place
and maybe that is why she didn't want to testify coz she didn't have a good father in her life and can't be the judge to whether he could be a good one to his kid.
