Mentally challenged father and homeless(possibly hooker, probably druggie) mother.
Isnt it most likely that an offspring of the two would be either deformed in some way or at the very least a little slow?
Hookers and disabled people only can make deformed babies? Huh?
shareumm not only..but Im sure its atleast a 50-50 chance that a baby would have some sort of defect if one of the parents had the mind of a 7 year old and the other was most likely on drugs , no?
shareBeing 'deformed' is different to be born with a disability. And that wouldn't always be the case. Healthy people have autistic babies. So autistic people and people with other disabilities can have 'normal' babies.

I dont have stats but Id guess a good majority of homeless people are drug addicts.
If it's 50-50 like you said than those are pretty good chances of a normal healthy baby. Lucy has a better chance of being born smart than being like her father, and there's no explanation that the mother of Lucy was on drugs during conception.

Addicts have normal children all the time so I would think the probability is high that Lucy would be normal. Both my parents are/were 12 steppers so I knew a lot of kids of alchies and addicts. All normal enough.
