I hated Michelle Phieffer's scenes

I don't know what it was but there's something different about the camerawork and the lighting. Everything is so shaky and washed out and zoomed in, and not in a clear cut way in just an all over the place way. It's actually driving me crazy while I'm watching it. Even though I love the movie I hate whenever she comes in. Even the music is obnoxious. I get that they're trying to show how hectic and crazy her life can be but they don't need to constantly show it.

Wow, I have no idea what you're talking about. Proves different strokes for different folks. I was actually coming her to post about how amazing some of her scenes were.
When she broke down in the origami scene, telling Sam of all her pain and crushing feelings of inadequacy and failure.
When toward the end when she said she was afraid she was getting more out of this relationship than Sam was.
Beyond outstanding.

Pfeiffer does not enter the film for quite some time and when she does, she is at her loveliest I have seen her. Unfortunately, this is one of her worst acted roles. She really ruins the film.

ReallY?! Her worst acted film? You're way off! She doesn't give a bad performance.
