I don't understand why most people are complaining about Sean going full-fledge; isn't that the whole point of acting, to become another person? He did a great job protraying the character without being to offensive, which a lot of people can't do.

Anyways, this was a great movie. I saw this on On Demand and it was a really good movie. The only thing that pissed me off was TNT, who sponsored the movie, put commercials for their television shows every 5 minutes in the movie.

Yeah, I just finished watching on On Demand, and it sucked balls, becuase of the commercials every ten minutes.

Yeah, aren't adverts a bitch. >_> Personally I didn't buy his retardation but his acting wasn't too hard to ignore so that I could still concentrate on the story. I thought it was a good film even though it felt obvious they were doing their best to appeal to our emotions. At times it worked but I was still aware of what they were trying to do.

What? That you never go full retard? its true. why do you think jamie foxx wont win this year for The Soloist. kinda ironic that robert downey jr is in that movie too. you think he wouldve warned him.......

I know you're trying to be funny, but Jamie Foxx wasn't mentally disabled in The Soloist, he was Schizophrenic.

That being said, I HATE the word "retard" or "retarded". It makes me nauseated.

it must suck to be so weak that you can be affected so negatively by words, your parents must have really failed in raising you, how can you be so unbelievably weak as to be physically ill from sounds people make with thier mouths, be a stronger person, its a joke from a really funny movie, lighten the *beep* up
