Can you check out this article I did on th DC multiverse.
Thanks https://t.co/QBWlyKojU5
shareInteresting article - serves as a nice primer to those who aren't familiar with the multiverse concept.
I'm surprised no-one else has responded. Have you had any feedback from elsewhere?
Anyway, I'm a decades-long DC fan and like you find the multiverse one of the most fascinating aspects of DC comics. I also believe that Crisis on Infinite Earths is one of the most significant and influential story arcs ever produced - but that said, adapting it to an animated format would be a hell of an undertaking. And to be honest, as much as I like Crisis... it would be as confusing as hell for anyone coming across the concept for the first time; your ideas Why the Multiverse Would Work in Animated Form make sense for fans and are sound in themselves, but I really don't see it working for general audiences.
That said, I'd be all for a simplified version of the concept to feature in a DC Universe Animated Original Movie followed by some Elseworld adaptations (we've had All-Star Superman and The Dark Knight Returns already), but this time marked very clearly that they're not main continuity. I could see that working - after all, they've already adapted Flashpoint.
Just my 'two cents', as they say
And yes, Lucy Lawless is undoubtedly the best live-action Wonder Woman we've never had!
You obviously put a lot of thought and research into the article (unless you're like me, and this stuff just sits at the top of your brain anyway! ).
Nice job.
All for a box of chocolates...
