Why doesn't it bother people how much they kill people on this show?

The entire justice League kills tons of people, superman has no problem killing to get the job done. Why doesn't that bother people but it bothers people that superman killed Zod and batman killed one bad guy in batman v superman? Is it because the show has humor while the movie is all dark?

Examples?

Let's be bad guys.

I don't remember any of them killing

Have you seen the show?

On a side note, this show trumps BvS in all manners of greatness that it's not even funny. I would totally make the comparisons if it wasn't so pathetic.

People get killed in this show, sure. Green Lantern does kill a German sniper in WW2, but he's a Marine.

The supers don't really kill anyone in costume that I can remember, but plenty do end up dead. It's not some fluffy kids' show, it's pretty good when it comes to showing the cost of these battles.

I can't recall seeing the League directly kill anyone. In his introduction to either In Blackest Night or The Enemy Below (I can't remember which) Bruce Timm says that directly showing people being killed was a 'no-no' on the show. So for example the Manhunters are shown to be litereally in pieces after the big battle in In Blackest Night - but that's okay, because they're robots.

All for a box of chocolates...
