I like briney but this was just not 'IN THE ZONE'

I personally don't think the movie is as bad as people are making it out to be. It's definitly not one of my favorite movies but if Britney hadn't been in the movie it wouldn't have gotten as much criticism as it did.

Crossroads isn't a musical. I'd like Britney to do a role that is the complete opposite of her. Something that no one would expect from Britney. I think it's that role that will give her the credibilty that she wants.
shareif britney were to do a role the complete opposite of herself and she was good, then she would prove the doubters wrong, however i doubt she could. and if she were to do a horror movie she would need to die as no one would expect that.
this movie was possibly the biggest piece of unbelievable, over-the-top, self-indulgent crap i have ever seen.
i think you're right that it wouldnt have gotten as much bad press if it didnt have britney in, however, it wouldn't have made it to the box office if it didn't, and would've died a quick death and fallen into obscurity.... hopefully like britney will very soon.
it was a weak story as the main character had no character, ironic as the main actress had no character either. the movie was written for her specifically, if the inspiration is garbage, your going to get trash. whereas 8 mile was written for a charasmatic guy (you cant say Em aint got character), so hence there was a good story, and as it didn't strech his acting skills we ended up with a good movie.

I agree with you, but what kind of role do you mean? I mean, she's been a lot of things... Just look at her albums. From innocent to what she is now. A mother of two. Now I'm not knocking Britney, I personally love her. I'm just asking what type of role you find the opposite of her.
