This movie wasn't a huge hit from what I recall, mostly watched on cable or video rental.
Does anyone remember if this provocative pose was on the movie poster shown at theaters?

Notice how they had to hide half of Gyllenhall's face with the envelope in that pic you linked? The designer of that poster knew what they were doing. I really don't get the thinking behind casting her. You're making a kind of racy comedy about a sexy woman and you cast Maggie Gyllenhall as the female lead? Reminds me of that Predator movie that had Adrien Brody playing a tough, combat-hardened soldier.

A model 10 would have so many suitors that the secertaries reactions would be not be plausible.

For an example of my personal scale, a 1990s Catherine Zeta Jones gets a 10, 1990s Salma Hayek a 9, Jennifer Lawrence or Jessica Simpson an 8, Thora Birch would get a 7, Juliette Lewis, say for a 6 while Maggie Gyllenhaal gets a 4-5 someone like Amy Schumer would be a 3 (but a 1 for personality) and for the extreme low end of 1 or 2, it would be someone like Shelly Duvall or Amanda Plummer. Anyone less attractive than those two gets the dreaded Zero, like Roseanne Barr or Rosie O'Donnell. IRL I have run the gamut of encounters between 3 and 8.
