When this film first came out all people could talk about was her nose, I thought that would be ALL I would notice but watching the film 13 years later-for the first time I didn't think 'oh its Nicole Kidman wearing a fake nose' I just saw the character. I actually think that she looked more interesting with the nose.

Agree. I too was bothered about focusing too much on the nose bit back when it released. Watched it today for the first time and boy did she look more pretty! (although 'interesting' may be a safer word)

I remember that too! The good thing is that it isn't distracting and it did change her face in a good way.

Forty minutes into the movie I was wondering when does Kidman show up, finally stopping the movie to look up which character she played. Never would have figured it out otherwise. Last character I saw her play was 'Charlotte Bless' in The Paperboy. Quite a contrast to Virginia Woolf.
