Did The Hours deserve 5 Oscars?

I would add to that list also Best Editing and Best Supporting Actress (Julianne Moore). 7 in total for me.

"And the Oscar goes to... by a nose, Nicole Kidman!"

It should have gotten best picture.

I don't feel that Kidman's win was deserved. In my opinion, it felt more like a debt being paid.

And Film Editing, SIX! It kind of makes me sad Chicago and The Pianist got wins The Hours should've owned. At least they got Kidman right.

It deserve the Oscar nominations but not convinced of Kidman's win though.

It is better than CHICAGO...Chicago winning still annoys me to this day. Any of the other five deserved it more.
