The emperor has no clothes

One of those films I was fooled into watching by rave reviews. Very common on IMDB. After 30 minutes I realized these were typical self absorbed shallow depressing tiresome characters and they I could listen to their mumbling any more. The scene of woolfie in an ugly dress muttering about killing herself, I think she meant a character, but for one reason all of the actors and actresses mumble do I don't know exactly, was more than enough.. Before I could get to the remote Streep and sime gawky women were doing seating charts for a party and fussingWhy are so many films about middle class people with fake problems. Off it went and I watched Sponge Bob instead, much more pithy social commentary. This film was far too boring to watch.

Very good, now move along.

Keep in mind that Virginia Woolf was a real person, not a 'fake person with fake problems'. The other main characters may have been fictitious, but they were clearly meant to MIRROR Virginia, in certain respects.
