question :: spoilers..
when trevor presents her the puzzle box during their anniversary, why does kirsty even open it ? couldn't she have just refused to do it ?? or did i miss something over there ???

He didn't know she'd know what it is. So when he gave it to her, she knew about it, what it did and she realised he'd betrayed her and thus wanted to punish him by making a deal of her own.
