can anyone recommend any other movies like this??

In many ways this movie is a sort of half homage to The Hustler - so you could watch that I suppose. Its abit more serious though - but it is very very good.

A much better film, better acting, better pool, funnier, more drama, better characters, music etc....My fave pool film ever.....Stickmen. (Made in New Zealand)

Definitely watch Color of Money. Paul Newman is outstanding in this.
