If so many Turks died, why have Turkey not asked for their own recognition?
Armenia was apart of Ottoman Turkey, therefore Armenia never had an army, hence no war.
Additionally, there was 2 million Armenians and 20 million Turks in the Ottoman Empire pre-1915 - how could such a small population with no army cause trouble for the Ottomans?
Pre-1915, there were over 100,000 Armenian men in the Ottoman armed forces - what happened to them?
