5 years from now, they could have a Lizzie McGuire spin off.

Imagine this. Hilary duff is in her mid 30s and now has a 13/14 year old daughter and a 10 year son that's similar to Lizzie and Matt when they were that age.

Miranda can also have a kid who's as funky as Miranda was as a teen.

Then imagine Lizzie being married to Gordonsince they proved to like each other in the movie.

Doesn't that sound interesting????

What fan hasn't thought of what a potential spin-off/reunion special would be like? A properly done revisiting of the characters (with the wholesome tone of the original series kept intact)? Sign me up.

Considering that in real life Hilary Duff is now a mother, she can certainly pull off the role of a maternal unit.

Now, Lizzie and Gordo as an endgame is a must. A must. ☺

I can see it now...

Tudgeman as a Silicon Valley tech tycoon...

Miranda as a successful singer, but who hasn't hit the A-list yet...

Lizzie as a famous pop star...

Gordo as her husband/successful music video director...

Kate as a corporate lawyer...

Ethan as a pro water polo player...

Matt, Lanny, and Melina as life coaches...

This stuff writes itself...

It can happen especially with reboots becoming popular nowadays. But I don't want Lizzie and Gordo together when the show first starts, and I'd like for them to ease into it since we never saw any romance between them on the show.

They kissed in the movie. It would be cool if they had dated, broke up and met up again.

There was susposto be a spin off around 2094/2005 that followed her to high school on ABC. It was gonna be. Ore like a sitcom rather than ramdom mush like it was on disney but duffs managers complained she didn't get paid enough so the idea was scraped.

Of course now it could work if done right. They are all adults now.

I remember being so heartbroken when Lizzie ended because Hilary Duff wanted more money. I understand why now. I think she was becoming a pretty big star and wanted to launch her career. But still, I would've loved more episodes and always wanted to know what happened with Lizzie and Gordo? Or Miranda??

If they did a Girl Meets World thing, I'd be so excited. But I think a majority of the cast moved onto different careers, and they couldn't do a reunion without everybody. IMO Lizzie definitely married Gordo- they were meant to be. Miranda is a famous artist, Kate is married to Ethan, and Larry could maybe be the school science teacher.

Also, Hilary was recently asked this very question and said she'd definitely be back for a reunion now.

-Who is it?
-It's Grandpa. And it sounds like he's gotten into the horseradish again.

What actually happened is that after the success of the movie, Hillary Duff did indeed ask for more money to make a sequel. However being a salaried employee of Disney it was locked in her contract how much extra she could be paid. She felt that was unfair and backed out of the series.

I would watch it <3
They did it with Boy Meets World, so I don't see why not.

I would love a Lizzie McGuire reboot, omg! That's the only show I would care to see a reunion for. It'd be even better if it wasn't on Disney.

But I don't want Lizzie to be a mom just yet...I could see her at the start of running her own business (like a Pier 1-type store) or having a lifestyle blog. The show could be about her adventures in dating, wine drinking and being a dog mom. That's the lives of most ppl her age that I know of anyway!

There was supposed to be a spinoff about Miranda's little sister, played by Selena Gomez. Instead, it became Wizards of Waverly Place.

Yes, that was called "Stevie Sanchez" - Here's an audition https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39Fr6e2dGYo

You were almost right.
